How did you hear about the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network?
A few months after my mother was diagnosed, my best friend found the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network website and shared it with me. I did some exploring and was impressed by all of patient and caregiver resources. I immediately requested information to help me understand my mother's treatment options.

Volunteering has helped me cope with losing my mom. I can transform the pain and loss into something positive by raising awareness and helping others.
What do you like most about your role as a Donor and Corporate Ambassador?
I’m able to make an impact in this role. Opportunities for fundraising have become possible through the connections I’ve made with companies and organizations within my community. I love educating them about the urgency of our cause.
Why is it important to get companies and other organizations involved in the fight against pancreatic cancer?
We’re able to get more people involved through other companies and organizations. The challenges of fighting pancreatic cancer may seem overwhelming, but collectively we can maximize our efforts and make a difference. It’s important to surround yourself with and interact with people who will help you achieve your goals.
