Pancreatic Cancer in the Black Community

No Image Description
Description
Black Americans have the highest incidence rate of pancreatic cancer of all ethnic/racial groups in the United States.

The exact reason for higher incidence among Black Americans is unknown, but it’s important to be aware that we
can change that reality, both by advocating for earlier diagnosis when there are more treatment options and by
increasing the diversity of patients enrolled in clinical trials, so that new medicines and treatments are best suited
to treat all patients with pancreatic cancer.

These resources are designed specifically for outreach to Black Americans. Each Social Media file has posts that can be used on Facebook, Instagram and X (formally Twitter). Additionally, you can find our Awareness Toolkit for Black Churches linked here.
