PanCAN Case for Support

We are excited to share our new case for support with all of our volunteers! While the Case for Support itself is new, we also have a new vision for how to use it and exercises to help you feel comfortable telling your story to the new audiences you connect with in your communities. 

First, what is a Case for Support? 
The PanCAN Case for support is a document that explains to potential donors why they should support PanCAN's mission and to encourage them to give to PanCAN.

Why are we talking about PanCAN differently, then we were before? 
When we live and breathe the work of our organization it can be hard to get out of the day-to-day jargon or our focus on current activities and tasks​. We often get too granular and specific, or too lofty and broad when talking to new audiences. ​

We want to align on our core messages and focus on: 

• Highlighting our impact, bringing the purpose and community core of PanCAN front and center
• Being as clear and direct as possible
• Being compelling and inspiring 
• Having a guide for engaging with donors, volunteers, and supporters, but have the ability to modify and adapt for your audience
