Pancreatic Cancer and Ashkenazi Jewish Ancestry

Did you know that people of Ashkenazi Jewish descent are at higher risk for pancreatic cancer because they are more likely to have a BRCA mutation, which increases a person's lifetime risk of developing pancreatic and some other cancers?

Being aware is important, because it can help lead to earlier detection, more personalized treatment options, and better outcomes for people who will be diagnosed.

These resources are designed specifically for outreach to Ashkenazi Jewish Americans. Each Social Media file has posts that can be used on Facebook, Instagram and X (formally Twitter). Additionally, you can find our Awareness Toolkit for the Ashkenazi Jewish Community linked here.
